butchery:

Cobbs Butchery operates four counters across our farm shops in Berkshire, Hampshire, and Warwickshire. We pride ourselves on creating a relaxed and friendly environment, with a strong emphasis on exceptional customer service to ensure our customers are always well taken care of.

Quality and provenance are at the heart of everything we do; we exclusively sell British meat, sourcing it as locally as possible. We follow traditional butchery methods, cutting whole carcasses, handcrafting our own sausages, and hand-pressing burgers during the summer months.

We also place great importance on dry-aging our beef for a minimum of 28 days to enhance its flavour and tenderness.

Farm Shop

We are excited to offer fantastic opportunities to join our thriving farm shop business, which prides itself on offering the finest local food available. Our team works closely together to create a truly unique operation, and we are eager to share our passion for exceptional food while delivering professional and friendly service.

Our farm shops are open seven days a week, so the ability to work flexibly, including weekends, is essential.

We are currently recruiting for the following positions in our farm shops:

  • Seasonal: Christmas Tree Sales Assistant (24 hours per week) Cobbs at Winchester, Hampshire. We are looking for someone to help sell our famous Christmas trees outdoors. The role involves selling trees, carrying them to customers’ cars, and being prepared to work in typical British winter weather.

  • Sales Assistant (24-30 hours per week) Cobbs at Hungerford, West Berkshire. We’re looking for a friendly Sales Assistant to join our team. Duties include working on the tills, unpacking deliveries, and providing excellent customer service in a busy, welcoming environment. Weekend work is essential.

We’re looking for self-motivated individuals with a passion for great food! Cobbs Kitchens and Cafés are fast-paced environments, so the ability to work under pressure while delivering exceptional customer service is essential.

We’re open seven days a week, so flexibility and weekend availability are a must. If you love good food as much as we do, we’d love to hear from you!
