Pancake Week at Cobbs!
Enjoy a pancake tower of dreams this half term!
Join us in our cafés for a whole week of irresistible, fluffy, stacked pancakes. From Monday 16th to Saturday 21st February, you’ll be able to choose from our delicious all-day Pancake Menu.
And because it’s half term, we’ll also have smaller portions for kids (a two-pancake stack!) - the perfect half-term treat.
This year, Pancake Day falls on Tuesday 17th February
Shrove Tuesday is traditionally the day before the start of Lent (Ash Wednesday). It was once the last chance to use up rich ingredients like eggs, milk and fats before Lent began, so pancakes were the perfect dish!
Even better, this year the dates fall perfectly in the half-term break, meaning children and parents alike can enjoy pancakes all day to their heart’s content.
Over the years, people have become more and more creative with their pancakes and toppings (including us!). Fluffier, thicker American-style pancakes have become just as popular as the traditional thin English version.
